One Direction release new single 'History'
The biggest pop band in the world One Direction have announced that their new single will be ‘History’.
Due to a phenomenal reaction after their unforgettable performance on The X Factor final, the band have decided to make the song their new single. The track is the third to be taken from their No.1 smash album ‘Made In The A.M.’
‘History’ became a firm fan favourite after the band premiered the track in November. A joyfully nostalgic pop song featuring clap-along verses and a enormous melodic chorus, it was written by Liam and Louis alongside producers John Ryan and Julian Bunetta - the duo responsible for other massive One Direction hits ‘Story Of My Life’ and 'Drag Me Down'.
Since being made available, the track has already had over 25 million streams on Spotify.
With sales of over 65 million worldwide and performances to over 10 million fans, One Direction truly are a pop phenomenon. The band recently won the coveted Artist of the Year and Favourite Band prize at the American Music Awards. They also picked up the International Artist Award at Australia's ARIA Awards.
