RAYE ANNOUNCES HUGELY ANTICIPATED NEW ALBUM

THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.' RELEASED MARCH 27th 2026

The wait is over! Global multi award-winning music superstar RAYE today announces that she will release her highly anticipated new album on March 27th.

The album is titled 'THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.' and is available to pre-order now from her official store - www.rayeofficial.com or https://raye.orcd.co/thismusicmaycontainhope.

The album, set in 4 “seasons” with each side of the vinyl being a different season, takes listeners on a sonic journey that begins with darkness and ends with light.

RAYE says: “Music is medicine, I’ve always said that. I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world. I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it.”

RAYE is riding high on the back of two BRIT Award nominations this week (Song Of The Year and Best Pop) in support of her recent UK No.1 smash hit single 'WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!', which has been streamed over 600 million times to date, going Platinum in the UK. The track continues RAYE’s global momentum, charting in the Top 10 across Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland, while officially breaking into the Top 20 of the US Hot 100 Billboard chart.

RAYE recently kicked off her massive 51-date sold-out arena tour 'THIS TOUR MAY CONTAIN NEW MUSIC', with support from her two sisters ABSOLUTELY and AMMA. The tour includes arena dates across Europe and the UK — including six sold-out nights at The O2 — before heading to North America with stops at iconic venues such as Radio City Music Hall and the Greek Theatre. Additionally, RAYE will be a special guest on Bruno Mars’ The Romantic Tour for 27 stadium shows across the US this summer. For tickets and more information, visit RAYEofficial.com.

Since her 2014 debut, RAYE has charted 20 Top 40 UK singles and surpassed over 10 billion cumulative streams. In 2024 she made history winning six BRIT Awards including ‘Album Of The Year’, the most ever in one year, alongside a total of seven nominations. Other accolades include an Ivor Novello for ‘Songwriter of the Year’ (2024) and ‘Best UK & IE Artist’ at the MTV EMAs as well the special Ivors Academy Honours Songwriter Advocate Award. She has also been shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and been honoured as a Variety ‘Triple Threat’ Award, alongside nominations for BET’s ‘Best International Act’ and the MTV VMAs ‘Video For Good.’

Most recently, RAYE was honoured with the Recording Academy’s 'Harry Belafonte Best Song For Social Change' CEO Merit Award for her raw and honest song 'Ice Cream Man' that amplifies the voices of sexual assault survivors. She is also vying for 'Best Music Film' at the 68th Grammy Awards for Live At The Royal Albert Hall—her one-night-only show backed by a 50-piece orchestra and gospel choir—which was released on vinyl and broadcast on the BBC and PBS. RAYE was previously nominated for 4 Grammys including 'Best New Artist’ and ‘Songwriter of the Year (Non-Classical)’ in 2025.

RAYE began 2025 by joining forces with LISA and Doja Cat on the global anthem ‘Born Again’, which she co-wrote and co-produced and recently earned the trio an MTV Video Music Award. She also collaborated with 9-time GRAMMY-winning producer Mark Ronson on two jazz-influenced singles, ‘Suzanne’ and ‘Grandma Calls The Boy Bad News’, the latter of which featured on the star-studded F1® THE MOVIE soundtrack. RAYE’s summer 2025 festival run included a triumphant return to Glastonbury’s legendary Pyramid Stage, alongside praised sets at Governor’s Ball, Montreux Jazz Festival, Newport Jazz Festival and All Points East. In September she covered British Vogue, and this month she graces the cover of ELLE USA.

RAYE’s 2023 debut album, 'My 21st Century Blues' was a decade in the making and marked her first as an independent artist, reaching No. 2 in the UK and topping Spotify’s Top Albums Debut. The record achieved unprecedented critical and international commercial success, propelled by the inescapable worldwide smash hit 'Escapism.' The single not only became her first career UK No. 1, but also reached Top 10 in over 20 countries, was certified RIAA Platinum in the US, and became the UK’s largest-selling single by a female British artist in 2023.
