Alesha says:  “Nothing happens before it’s time, and I can’t think of a better time than now to celebrate the 25th anniversary of 'Lickin On Both Sides'! We can’t wait to relive the magic and energy of that record and many more, with the very people who made it so special. I’m also excited for my daughters ‘the Mis-Teeq babies’ to see us coming back strong!”

Su-Elise adds:  “It honestly feels surreal that 25 years later people still connect so deeply with the music we made together. Looking back, I’m so proud that Mis-Teeq played a part in bringing UK Garage to the masses, and I don’t think any of us could have imagined the lasting impact our songs would continue to have. Wembley feels like the perfect place to celebrate that journey, the memories, and the fans who have stayed with us through every chapter. I can’t wait to be back on stage with my Mis-Teeq ladies and to see the look on my son’s little face when he watches his mummy step out and perform again for the first time in decades! It’s going to be a very special night indeed.”

Sabrina says: “It feels incredibly emotional looking back 25 years later and realising how deeply our music has connected with people around the world. We created these records simply for our love of music and the different sounds that inspired us — from Garage, R&B, Hip-Hop and Reggae — never knowing how impactful they would become. I feel incredibly grateful and humbled that they still mean so much to so many people today, and the love from the fans across generations is something I’ll never take for granted.”

Emerging at the forefront of the UK garage explosion of the early 2000s, Mis-Teeq were a groundbreaking UK girl band that brought underground UK garage, R&B and hip-hop to the mainstream charts in a way not seen before, selling over 12 million records.

Mis-Teeq broke boundaries, changed the landscape of British pop music and became one of the first UK acts to successfully bridge underground club culture and mainstream chart and radio airplay success.

The band achieved a flawless run of seven consecutive UK Top 10 singles: 'Why?', 'All I Want', 'One Night Stand', 'B With U', 'Roll On / This Is How We Do It', 'Scandalous' and 'Can't Get It Back'. Their debut album 'Lickin' on Both Sides' peaked at No. 3 on the Official UK Album Chart and was certified Double Platinum, selling over 600,000 copies in the UK alone. Their second studio album ‘Eye Candy’ reached No. 6 on the UK chart and achieved Gold/Platinum.

'Scandalous', their biggest global hit single, peaked at No.3 in the UK and No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Dance Chart. It also famously served as the theme song for the 2004 Hollywood movie Catwoman.

Mis-Teeq won 'Best Garage Act' at the 2002 MOBOS receiving multiple nominations over the years including 'Best UK Act' and 'Best Single'. They won 'Best Artist' at the UK Garage Awards, 'Best R&B/Soul Album' at the Soul Train Lady Of Soul Awards and earned a prestigious nomination for 'British Urban Act' at the 2003 BRIT Awards. The band were also selected to open the Party at the Palace concert in 2002 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee.

Mis-Teeq inspired a generation of artists who followed. Their influence on British music, fashion, and culture is undeniable and continues to resonate 25 years later.
