New Album 'My Happy Place' Released Friday 12th April
Emma Bunton today announces her highly anticipated brand new album ' My Happy Place', which will be released via BMG on 12th April 2019.
Spice fans can rejoice, as 'My Happy Place' is a brand new collection of 10 Emma songs that she has recorded over the last two years, all produced by pop maestros Metrophonic.
The first song from the album 'Baby Please Don't Stop' is released this Wednesday February 27th. Written by Emma with Paul Barry and Patrick Mascall, the song is a storming sixties influenced smooth pop classic, which is sure to delight Emma fans across the globe.
Emma has duetted with a selection of music’s finest on the album. She collaborates with Robbie Williams on a brand new version of the Spice Girls smash '2 Become 1', with Will Young on 'I Only Want To Be With You', Josh Kumra on 'Come Away With Me' , and her very own Jade Jones on 'You're All I Need To Get By'.
The album features two brand new original songs co-written by Emma herself including 'Baby Please Don't Stop, plus 'Too Many Teardrops', which is another slice of sensual sixties pop.
Emma says: “The reason I called the album ‘My Happy Place’ is because my happy place is with my family, with my friends, listening to music and being in the studio. All those things came together on this album. While recording it my kids came to the studio, my friends came down, my mum listened to every song over and over again. Being in the studio I just feel so happy.
As you get older you feel more confident because actually your priorities change, and my family have become my focus, but this album is like the icing on the cake. Being able to write, record and perform is definitely that extra sprinkle of magic”.
Emma has sold over 85 million records as a member of the all conquering Spice Girls, the most successful female pop group of all time. As a solo artist she has had seven UK Top 10 hits and two UK Top 10 albums.
Global superstars Little Mix return with the second single to be taken from their smash hit album 'LM5', 'Think About Us'.

'FLICKER FEATURING THE RTE CONCERT ORCHESTRA'
In April 2018, Niall Horan and his band took a brief break from their world tour to travel to Dublin to record tracks from his debut album ‘Flicker’ with the revered 45-piece RTÉ Concert Orchestra. The recording formed the basis of a one-off TV special, broadcast earlier this year.
The music recorded that day is now being given its official release. 'Flicker featuring The RTÉ Concert Orchestra' is released today Friday February 1st.
The nine-track album features eight reworked songs from the multi-platinum selling album “Flicker”, including singles 'This Town' and 'Too Much To Ask', plus previously unreleased track 'So Long'.
Niall says:“Flicker was an album I made that came from the heart and my heart is very much in Ireland. Recording tracks from that album with a 45-piece orchestra was a dream come true and to be able to do it at home with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, one of the best in Europe, if not the world, was really special.”
“When recording the album, I could never get the production right on ‘So Long’. I played it in tour rehearsals one day and the band joined in with me. We ended up making a new version which sounds amazing live and has been part of our tour set list. I love that we can finally release a version of it now.”
The RTÉ Concert Orchestra performed under conductor Gavin Murphy, who also arranged the orchestral scoring, and was led by Bróna Cahill.
Niall has sold over 70 million records as part of the all-conquering One Direction and has toured the globe numerous times. His debut Platinum single 'This Town', released in 2016, sold more than 6 million track equivalent units globally with the follow up, 'Slow Hands', selling over 8.5 million.
In October 2017, Niall released his debut solo album 'Flicker'. On release, the album hit No.1 in the US and Ireland, Top 3 in the UK, and went to No.1 on iTunes in a staggering 61 countries. It has since gone on to sell over 2.5 Million albums worldwide and be streamed over 2.6 BILLION times.
'Flicker featuring The RTÉ Concert Orchestra' is available on all digital music services from today Friday February 1st.

Mollie King covers YOU Magazine with her most honest and emotional interview ever, celebrating her amazingly successful career move in to radio and TV presenting.
Fresh from a storming week of press that has seen her feature on the cover of Fabulous magazine's 'Futures Issue', and interviews with Evening Standard, Interview Magazine, Gay Times and House Of Solo, alongside coverage in Metro and The Sun, Alice Chater premieres the video for her sensational new single 'Thief'.
'Thief' is a storming emotional pop dance song that details a love that has stolen her heart.
Alice says; "This song is the perfect way for me to start 2019, as I learned so much and really found my feet in 2018. The video reflects how I want to be seen. Shot by Anna Radchenko (I really wanted a young female director) it combines all the theatre and drama of who I am, but also the choreography I love.
I don’t think this level of dance really gets seen any more. I work hard and continue to train in dance as its an equal passion of mine to singing. I love the look of the video, the colours, the theatre, the movement, all of it. It was a dream come true and I can’t think of a better way to start 2019."
Alice's previous releases have attracted the attention of Radio 1, with her tracks being played on Best New Pop, and 'Heartbreak Hotel' becoming the station's Track of the Week. Clara Amfo said: "If you like a bit of Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars or Ann-Marie, this will be right up your street.”
2018 saw Alice play shows at Thousand Island in Islington, The Old Blue Last and Birthdays in Dalston, alongside sets at Rize Festival, London Pride, Sink The Pink Pride Night and the Fiorucci London store opening.
Alice closed 2018 appearing in Little Mix's hugely talked about Rankin directed video for 'Strip'. Alice was personally chosen by the band to be one of the amazing women featured.
As an artist Alice is aiming high. We’re talking Madonna, Beyoncé and Lady GaGa levels of triple-threat superstardom, all on-point choreography, high-concept videos and attitude-laden vocals that aren’t afraid to belt. Bored of a modern pop landscape that’s rigid and way too-cool-for-school, Alice is here to shake things up, with the help of some of pop’s biggest names: Max Martin’s right hand man Rami Yacoub; fellow Swede Carl Falk; Years & Years’ producer Mark Ralph; Katy Perry collaborator Bonnie McKee and Mozella, who penned Wrecking Ball. Alongside her every step of the way has been her songwriting mentor Kee Ingrosso, wife of Sebastian Ingrosso, and co-writer of J.Lo’s On The Floor among others.
If that’s not enough, she impressed will.i.am so much after a one off meeting on a night out that he’s become a mentor, helping kickstart a major label rush that was won by Virgin EMI in the UK.
Alice is a proper, multi-faceted pop star who can actually properly sing, dance and perform, who is as vulnerable as she is fierce. “I just love pop bangers that make you feel amazing and make you want to dance."
James Arthur is awarded a disc for reaching a BILLION streams on Spotify with his No.1 global hit 'Say You Won't Let Go'.
Only 18 records have achieved a billion streams on Spotify in history, and James is one of 10 artists globally to do this including Drake, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber.
James says: "I'm really proud that this song keeps growing and growing. 2019 is going to be a busy year for me – there will be more music and a tour. I can't wait for everyone to hear what I've been working on."

Little Mix unveil their highly anticipated ‘Strip’ video, taken from their fifth album ‘LM5’.
Little Mix co-directed the video with renowned director and photographer Rankin. Their idea was to strip the band's look right back and show the beautiful features that they once saw as flaws, inviting real women to do the same and celebrate alongside them.
'Strip' is about standing proud, encouraging people to embrace their bodies and love who they are. The video highlights that there are many forms of beautiful and not just the ideals that modern day society places upon us.
The Strip video features author and blogger Dina Tokio, Breast Cancer charity Coppafeel's Kristin Hallenga, natural hair advocate Nia The Light, journalist and mental health ambassador Bryony Gordon, Nimco Alie from Daughters of Eve (FGM activist group), model Felicity Hayward, trans model and role model Maxim Magnus, police detective constable Janey Camille, upcoming singer songwriter Alice Chater, and many other inspirational women including the girl's friends and family.
Leigh-Anne says: "A few months ago, we invited many different women to be a part of our brand new music video for ‘Strip’.
Strip is a really special song from LM5, it’s all about standing proud and we wrote it to encourage and empower people to be who they are. We can't wait to share all these incredible, inspirational women and their stories with you.”
Jade: "We were lucky enough to have the amazing Rankin bring our vision to life. We co-directed this video and we are so incredibly proud of it"
To celebrate the release of LM5 and the Strip video, the band treated fans to an exclusive YouTube event where they spoke about the inspiration behind their new album and gave interactive opportunities to get involved in the Little Mix world, including an immersive area where lyrics were digitally projected onto the guests in attendance, bringing to life the album’s message of female empowerment.
The screens in Piccadilly Circus London were also playing the video to fans in the capital throughout the evening.
Jade, Leigh-Anne, Jesy and Perrie are ready to return to the pop spotlight with LM5 as they take over Attitude with one cover each.
But far from going solo, they talk about how they feel they’re only just getting started, sexism in the music industry, and why it’s important for straight artists to embrace being an LGBT+ ally.
Attitude Magazine x Little Mix is out now.
The stunning video for James Arthur’s new single ‘Empty Space’ premieres featuring superstar Harry Potter actor Tom Felton.
'Empty Space' is a beautiful, soaring, guitar-led song about love and loss. The lyrics are trademark James. Raw and honest, they document the pain and self awareness that follows a break up.
"I've been drinking, I've been doing things I shouldn't do. Over thinking, I don't know who I am without you. I'm a liar and a cheat, I let me ego swallow me. And that's why I might never see you again. I'm alone in my head looking for love in a strangers bed. But I don't think I'll find it 'cause only you could fill this empty space."
James says: “This song is for anyone who has ever deeply loved and lost someone dear to them, and is then faced with the struggle of trying to fill that void. It is about coming to terms with the fact that only that special person can truly fill the empty space.”
