Perrie’s Passenger Princess

Pop superstar Perrie today releases her new single ‘Passenger Princess’.

‘Passenger Princess’ is a playful, emotional anthem about love, vulnerability and wanting someone to take the weight off your shoulders. The track marks a rockier direction for Perrie — one fans have long been asking for.

Driven by heavier rock guitars, big drums and Perrie’s signature powerhouse vocals, 'Passenger Princess' sees Perrie embrace a more vulnerable side. The track explores how navigating being a busy working mother and wife can sometimes lead to simply wanting your partner to take control for a moment when stressed. This is Perrie at her most honest and relatable.

‘Passenger Princess’ was originally released as a demo download on the Digital Fan Deluxe of her self-titled debut solo album, 'Perrie.', and this new version of the song marks the close of the album era.

Perrie says: “This song is written from a really honest place. Sometimes you just want someone to hold it together for you for a minute! It's about letting yourself be looked and not feeling guilty about it. I'm really excited to embrace an even rockier sound in my music. I see all the feedback from my fans and I know this is what they want!".

The 'Perrie,' album reached No.3 on the Official UK Albums Chart last year and is an eclectic and diverse record. The album has nods to Perrie’s rock’n’roll-influenced childhood, guitar led tracks, a hint of country, 80s and of course bright, bold pop. It features Perrie's smash hit debut solo single 'Forget About Us'. The single was Top 10 in the UK and Perrie has since achieved an amazing 200 million streams overall.

This weekend Perrie will be one of the headline performers at London’s Mighty Hoopla festival. She will also perform sets this Summer at Isle of Wight Festival,  TRNSMT Festival and The Big Feastival.
